We have worked hard this term and can't wait for the Christmas break! Here are some Christmas songs to get you into the Christmas Spirit. Hope you enjoy listening as much as we did performing!

In class we've been learning about the Digestive System. Today we took advantage of the fine weather and went outside. We worked in our pods to draw the Digestive System either using markers or chalk. Team work was key and we all stepped up to the challenge. Ms Browne was very impressed with our diagrams.
Today was a fun day! We got to engage in an online electricity-based workshop called 'House of Circuits'. Each child was given a box with all the materials needed to participate. We were given tasks to complete by Mary, the facilitator of the course. Some were easy, but others required some problem solving. It was very enjoyable and the workshop got a big THUMBS UP from all in Ms. Browne's 4th & 5th class.
On 17th September Garda John Fitzgerald visited the school. He gave all the classes a talk on 'Cycle Safety'. This was hugely important, as many of our class cycle to school and also outside of school.
Our class was also invited to receive a talk about 'Halloween Safety' in the hall. Garda John was very interesting and answered the questions which the children had. Thank You Garda John! |
