Wellbeing

Burnfort National School are promoting wellbeing this year. As part of this promotion, we are focusing on a different area of wellbeing each month.
In November, children were encouraged to drink water at regular intervals throughout the day. We recently ran "Watch your water day" to highlight the importance of drinking water regularly.
During the month of December we have looked at being kind to yourself. We had a kindness week which ran from 7/12/20-11/12/20 where children encouraged to think positively about themselves and the world around them.
As part of our focus on wellbeing for term 3, we are looking at our immediate surrounds in school. Each class has examined the school grounds, discovering what positive aesthetic changes they can make. A pretty environment is great for our mood and if the children are involved in creating this beauty, it will give them a sense of accomplishment. Watch this space!!
