U12 North Cork Football Final

On Sunday 4th October, the Clyda Rovers U12 football team played against the U12 Buttevant team. The Clyda Rover's captain was Adam O'Connor from Burnfort National School. 
At half time, the score was one point to Buttevant and four points to Clyda Rovers. The teams took a drink and returned to play the last half.
Only a few minutes into the second half, a goal was scored for Clyda Rovers. The noise was deafening. 
Over the next half an hour, Buttevant scored three points. There were a few close calls for goals but the Clyda goal keeper, Paul Kelly didn't let anything past him. 
The final score was one goal and four points for Clyda Rovers and four points to Buttevant. 
The team captain was presented with a shield for Clyda Rovers.
The Clyda team had six players from Burnfort National School. The Burnfort players were Captain; Adam O'Connor, Paul Kelly, Sean Ambrose, Tadhg Ambrose, David Nyhan and Seamus O'Brien.
