We have been learning all about 3-D shapes  in 5th and 6th class. We decided to have some fun creating many different shapes, cuboids, prisms, octahedrons and pyramids using linguine and marshmallows. Of course we tasted some marshmallows after all our hard work!

5th and 6th class girls and boys began their daily mile at home during their last two weeks of online learning. Once we arrived back to school, we gladly began the daily mile together as a class. We love this daily break from the classroom, it refreshes our minds and allows us to keep fit! Here are some photos of us completing our daily mile at home and in school. 

Táimid ag céiliúradh Seachtain na Gaeilge faoi láthair ar líne i rang 5 agus 6. Rinneamar póstaer de sheanfhocail. We are celebrating Seachtain na Gaeilge online in 5th and 6th class at the moment. We made posters with seanfhocail. We are also learning a new phrase gach lá chun feabhsú a dhéanamh ar ár gcuid Gaeilge. 

On 4/3/21 5th and 6th class celebrated World Book Day online. We shared our favourite books with each other.  On our live zoom on Friday we shared why we loved those books and we took part in a "World Book Day 2021" quiz about children's literature online. We got very competitive as a class but we all enjoyed the quiz!  Here are some of 5th and 6th class' favourite books!
