All About Homes

Over the last few weeks we have been learning all about different types of homes. We learned how homes have changed over the years, the difference between detached, semi- detached and terraced houses and even talked about some unusual type of homes like houses on stilts and igloos!

We decided to put our newly learned knowledge to the test when we worked in groups and constructed our own creative homes out of recycled materials. 

For a few days, Ms Curran's classroom turned into a bit of a pigsty with cardboard boxes, tubs and cartons taking over the floors while we worked on our projects; but she didn't mind!

We really enjoyed creating our buildings. What do you think?
