'Many hands make light work'.
This saying ran true this week as we tackled our patch in the school garden. The weeds were no match for our strength as we cleared our vegetable beds for our lettuce and also tackled the wheels so that we could plant our strawberries. We're delighted with how well it looks and we're looking forward to seeing our fruit and vegetables grow.

This week in maths we were investigating the weight of various objects.
We learned that a kilogramme is actually quite heavy! We predicted and investigated whether items were greater or less than a kg. We also learned that a kilogramme is the same as- -two 500g bags of pasta -a packet of spaghetti and a bag bag of raisins - 5 and a half apples - a big bag of porridge We also realised that we shouldn't 'judge a book by it's cover'. Something may look small but it could weigh a lot! |
